Hello!
I’m Michael, a University of Alberta graduate with a Psychology & History degree and extensive experience in Alberta’s non-profit sector, particularly in volunteer coordination. I recently graduated with my second bachelor’s as an Economics major and a Computer Science minor for the purposes of combining my interests in human behavior with quantitative analysis. I currently work at a health-tech startup in Berlin as a Data Scientist where I created and maintained an entire OCR extraction pipeline and took a health prediction model from cold-start to production. This website portfolio is meant to showcase my skills through my own personal projects.
My interests are particularly in:
- Applied mathematical modeling for risk assessment and decision-making.
